My name is Lina Lee (Polina Sayfudinova). For the past ten years, I have been living in Berlin, Germany, and working internationally as a professional sand artist. I was born and raised in Russia in a creative family. My parents have always been closely connected to art and creativity, so drawing and art have surrounded me since childhood. I started drawing at an early age, received a classical art education, and over time, visual art became the foundation of my professional career. I have been working with sand animation for more than 16 years. During this time, I have created over 300 sand animation programs and projects and performed thousands of live shows. My work has taken me to more than 40 countries around the world — from theatres and concert venues across Europe to international events, festivals, cruise ships, corporate events and private celebrations. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to create projects and perform for BMW, IKEA, Pfizer, Sparkasse, and many other companies and organizations.

My professional journey has also included projects connected with TEDx, performances at Admiralspalast Berlin and Boulevardtheater Dresden, as well as many other stages in Germany and internationally. Today, I create both my own full-length stage productions and individually commissioned performances. These include stories created for companies and brands, biographical and thematic productions, wedding stories, personalized projects, as well as sand animation films.

I approach every project as an artist — from the first sketches and development of visual concepts to the final story presented on stage. After more than 16 years, sand animation has become much more to me than simply an art form. It is my profession, my creative life, and something I truly love.
And I continue to create new stories — stories that are born in my hands, but find their true meaning when they meet the audience.

THE PRINCIPLES BEHIND MY WORK

01 — THE PRINCIPLE OF LOVE: Do what you love. Love what you do.
Sand art is more than my work — it is part of my life and a way of expressing who I am. Through it, I share stories, ideas and a part of myself with the world. When you truly love what you do, people can feel it.

02 — THE PRINCIPLE OF GROWTH: Never stop growing.
For me, growth has no final destination. I keep learning, exploring and trying new things — both as an artist and as a person. I am curious about art, people and the world around me, and everything I learn becomes part of how I see, how I create, and what I share with the world.

03 — THE PRINCIPLE OF UNIQUENESS: Every story is unique.
Every person, every company and every story is unique. No two journeys or life stories are ever exactly the same. That is why I approach every client individually, allowing each story to reveal its own uniqueness.

04 — THE PRINCIPLE OF ACTION: Less words. More action.
We are defined not by what we say, but by what we do — by our actions, the way we treat others, and what we create. Sand art speaks the same language: it needs no words. What matters can simply be seen and felt.

05 — THE PRINCIPLE OF RESPECT: Every Meeting Matters
I believe every meeting matters. Every person we meet and every story we encounter is important. That is why I approach every client, every collaboration and every new story with deep attention and great respect.
